Perhaps then, if we listen attentively, we shall hear amid the uproar of empires and nations, a faint flutter of wings, the gentle stirring of life and hope. Great ideas, it has been said, come into the world as gently as doves. When angels visit us, we do not hear the rustle of wings, nor feel the feathery touch of the breast of a dove but we know their presence by the love they create in our hearts. ![]() We must combine the toughness of the serpent and the softness of the dove, a tough mind and a tender heart.
